What it's like to be in therapy with me...

Many of us struggle with symptoms we can’t explain, repeat the same patterns relationally and even though we may know what our personal traumas are, we do not necessarily know how to feel better or have a breakthrough. In our therapeutic work, we come together to explore the visible and the hidden forces that create these struggles and loosen the knots if not remove them completely.

Healing is truly a miracle! And I am here to facilitate freedom where it is possible. My perspective is that as much as therapy can be painful at times it is also deeply fulfilling and rewarding for the soul. It brings a sense of aliveness and reclaims authenticity.

I use an integrative, trauma-informed psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approach that always considers the body and the larger systemic and cultural forces we are embedded in.

For as long as I remember I have carried curiosity and reverence for the complexity of human nature. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the arts and fashion industries and that background informs a very relational and creative clinical presence. Originally from Bulgaria, I also bring a rich multicultural perspective to my approach. I have a lived experience as a parent, understanding many of the modern day challenges parents need to navigate and carry a deep interest in child development. My work with children centers on the idea that kids are a part of a system and not a problem to fix.

I welcome individuals, couples, families, and children.
