Anxiety Therapy
“Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing. We think the point is to pass the test or to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.”
- Pema Chodron, from When Things Fall Apart

Feeling STUCK

Humans are pack animals. Humans relied on the group to be safe in an environment that was full of real danger. Our danger radar is highly developed and sometimes can be too strong and too sensitive so that it can be debilitating. A person can feel like they are trapped in fear.

We get YOU. You feel like your body doesn’t listen to what your mind is saying. You may try to calm yourself down by saying “it’s going to be OK.” But the body just doesn’t listen.
